The man, the myth…

I’ve lived in Madison since relocating here for college in 1993. Attractive for it’s proximity to Milwaukee and the idyllic university experience I had heard whispered about the halls of Riverside University High School in Milwaukee, my bachelor’s degree came years later from the Communication Arts school, a concentration on Radio, TV and Film.

Targeting local media to satisfy my creative and financial desires, I took a position as Account Manager with Entercom Communications, they operate 3 local radio stations. The position allowed me to service a broad customer base, develop and implement marketing campaigns and provide an avenue for my creativity through copy writing.

During my 6-year tenure I achieved many personal milestones. In no particular order they include meeting and marrying my wife Sandy, buying our first and second rental properties, and the arrival of a daughter, Evelyn.

Challenging myself academically and in new career directions, courses in Marketing and Advertising Sales earned me a spot in the Entercom President’s Circle, honored for exceeding annual goals and developing true partnerships with my clients. I also completed courses in Home Inspection, the required education for my Real Estate License and more recently acquired my Brokers License.

In April 2005, I joined Home Realty, learning the ropes from friend and mentor Stephanie Miller. Moving a few years later to Bunbury Realtors,these years, spent at a larger firm, helped me understand the role of technology, marketing and all that a well established and managed “back of the house” could provide for me and my clients.

In 2008, we added a second daughter to our family, Lola.  It was also the year I renovated a former two unit into our current home. Late 2010 was also a period of change.  I completed the interior renovation of my first collaborative venture, a 4 unit owned by Deacon Housing LLC, a partnership I have with friends.  It is also when I chose to move my license and practice to Keller Williams.  This national firm offers the technology and resources of the nations third largest real estate company with the local autonomy of a mom and pop shop.  The move was made for you, my clients and I look forward to sharing those resources with you.

Home ownership, Real Estate Sales and Rental Property ownership has shown me a road to wealth and a career path that brings success not at the cost of others but in helping others achieve that same success.
